She was predeceased by: her parents, Jude Cormier and May Cormier; and her siblings, Sarah, Beatrice, Mazzie, Eileen, Cecilia, Marion, Josephine and Jude (Mannie).

She is survived by: her husband Cyril Mawdsley; her granddaughter Dawn Dempsey; her children, Cynthia Landry (Gary), Layton Mawdsley (Marion) and Stephen Mawdsley (Cheryl); her grandchildren, Christie-Ann, Donna, Alisha, April, Stephanie and Paul; her daughter-in-law Brenda; and her friends, Gloria, Sally, Jim and Eleanor. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
