Elbert William White Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elbert William White (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 23, 2019, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur White and Stella White (Hickey); and his brothers-in-law, John Kent, Leon Melanson, Ernie Melanson, Oscar Locy, George Ayer and Jim Coade.

He is survived by: his wife Marguerite (Melanson); his children, Karen Moore (Kevin), Barry (Amy), David (Twyla) and Linda Cole (Kevin); his siblings, Dureen Coade and Glen (Anita); and his siblings-in-law, Ada Ramsay (Hal), Anne Kent, Kathy Estabrooks (Junior), Evelyn Ayer, Marian Locy, Malcolm "Mac" Melanson (Rose) and Dave Melanson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations may be made in Elbert's memory to Saint Vincent de Paul Society.
