She was predeceased by: her parent Arthur Sloan; her husband George; her daughter Anne Marie; and her sister Pauline Greenough. She is survived by: her parent Janie Sloan (Wells); her children, Scott of Toronto, ON, Carolyn (Mont), Wayne (Diana), Amherst, Ronald (Audrey) and Truro; her grandchildren, Kelly (Alex), Tyler, Korey, Emma, Trent, Jordan and Craig; and her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Josiah and Kinsley. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family.
