She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Letcher and Stella Letcher (Brownell); her husband Neil Brownell; her sisters, June Rioux and Fern Vaughan; and her brother-in-law Ed Weatherbee.

She is survived by: her daughter Sylvia Jamieson (Vaughn); her grandchildren, Jennifer, Jaclyn and Mitchell (Lauren Innes); her great grandchildren, Caleb, Liam, Ryan, Emily and Lucy; and her siblings, Jennie Weatherbee, Darlene Hunter (Hughie), Ray Letcher (Marilyn) and Owen Letcher (Linda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
