Edgar Joseph Burgess Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 4, 2021, at the age of 86, Edgar Joseph Burgess of Amherst, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Burgess and Celina Burgess (Burke); his son Paul; and his brother Laurie Burgess (Juanita). He is survived by: his wife Beatrice (Smith); his daughter Susan Waye (Shawn); and his grandson Lucas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.

Due to COVID-19 provincial guidelines, everyone 12 and over will be required to show proof of double vaccination as well as government ID.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Edgar's memory can be made to Christ Church, Muscular Dystrophy Canada or to the charity of your choice.
