It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Carter (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 1, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Woodford Carter and Minnie Honora (Lorimer); his sister Jean Cochrane; and his wife Eileen. He is survived by: his children, Patricia, Donald (Lynn), Claude (Chris), James (Regina) and David (Dorval); his grandchildren, John Douglas, Lindsay, Jill, Alex, Ashley, Aleesa, Kaitlyn, Kimberly, Neil and Glen; and his great grandchildren, Huck, William, Abraham, Sadie, Ida, Maya, Brady, Adelyn, Emilie, Matheo, Olivia and Elodie.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwood Foundation or the charity of your choice.
