We are sad to announce that on July 19, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Doris Lorraine White of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in River Hebert, Nova Scotia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harris O'Brien and Helen O'Brien (Melanson); her daughters, Wilma White and Valerie Smiley; her granddaughter Tina McClary; and her siblings, George, Jimmy, Harris Jr., John, Inez, Mary, Ann and Barb.

She is survived by: her children, Mark White (Kerry), Jeff White of Amherst and Rose Leroux of Halifax; her grandchildren, Dwayne Edwards, Danielle White, Amanda McClary and Amber McKay (Steve); her great grandchildren, Mark, Cody, Drake and Cameron; her stepgreat-granddaughter Selana; her sisters, Joyce and Deb; and her close friends, David Dickie, Elaine, Clayton and Ed. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of Doris may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
