Doreen DeLong Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen DeLong of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick LeBlanc and Florence LeBlanc (White); her husband Cletus DeLong; her son Cletus Jr.; her sister Jean LeBlanc; and her sister-in-law Joan LeBlanc.

She is survived by: her children, Christine Eagles, Elly Shay (Stephen) of Truro, NS and Steven DeLong (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Amy, Nicholas Eagles, Jason, Adam Shay, Allison Coates, Danielle and Emilee DeLong; her great grandchildren, Braden, Preston, Keegan and Sawyer; her great great grandchild Paisley; and her brother Donald LeBlanc of Nanaimo, BC. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
