It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dianne Elaine Wheaton (Amherst, Nova Scotia), born in Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on March 27, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Gilroy and Agnes Gilroy (Card); her husband Ernest; and her siblings, Morton, Angus, Beatrice and Geraldine James.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis (Christine), Kimberly MacKenzie (Kevin) and Pamela Gould (Mark); her grandchildren, Jessica Wheaton, Kayla Wheaton and Mitchell Hicks; her great grandchildren, Jaycee and Addisyn; her siblings, Elda Austin (Herbert), Gail Russell (John), Barbara Leroux (Murray), Jane Terris (Gordon), Rowena Allen (Arthur) and Verna Jean MacLeod (Peter); and her sisters-in-law, Mary Gilroy, Susan Gilroy and Leah Gilroy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
