She was predeceased by: her mother Josephine Purnell. She is survived by: her husband Grant Speight; her stepchildren, John of Alberta, Jeremy of Joggins, Shauna of Amherst, Troy of Port Elgin, Jennifer of Glace Bay and Keyerra of White Court, Alberta; her mother-in-law Joyce Speight; her sisters, Christine Terris (Bill), Barbara Spicer (Kenneth), Josie Purnell, Kathy Ripley (Charles Miller) and Amanda Cameron (Jonathan); and her sister-in-law Cheryl LeBlanc. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
