We are sad to announce that on October 24, 2020, at the age of 69, Dawn Thompson (Amherst, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Douglas Goodwin and Dorothy Goodwin (MacDonald); her sibling Dallice Goodwin; her grandmother Eva; her husband Carson; her daughter Belinda Roy (Mitchell); her grandson Sidney Layton Guy Roy; her sister Diana Matthews (Ken); her nephew Steven Matthews (Crystal); her niece Cassie Leidl (Dan); her mother-in-law Elizabeth Thompson; and her daughter Andrea "Andy" Thompson.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions we please ask that you call Campbell's Funeral Home, Amherst to reserve your place for the celebration of life service. (902) 667-9906. We kindly ask that all COVID 19 guidelines including masks and physical distancing, be observed while attending the service.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in honor of Dawn, may be made to the Andrea Lynn Thompson Paramedic Bursary or a charity of your choice.

Andrea brought us together and I know the terrible anguish in your hearts ... in all of our hearts that you have lived with, and continue to live with since her passing.
