He was predeceased by: his parents, William Richardson and Margaret Richardson (Bain); and his siblings, Cathy, George, Sarah, Jessie, Andrew, William, Bob and Eddie.

He is survived by: his wife Pearl (DeCoste); his children, Frances Weldon (Mike), Sackville N., Greg (Lori), Cathy Lattin (Russ), Tim (Ann-Marie), Kevin (Lynn) and Rob (Danna); his stepchildren, Judi Nyeste (Mike) of Calgary, Mike Porter (Marion), Ross Estabrooks, Jackie White (Terry), Donnie Hubley and Richard Hubley (Carrie Lowther); his former wife Margaret Richardson; and his grandchildren, Owen, Tori, Will, Heather, Sarah, Nathan, Kelley, Devon, Samantha, Cole, Sidnee, Jory, Becca, Josh, Ethan, Abbey, Mitchell, Marshall, Emma, Duncan and Cameron.

In lieu, donations may be made in Dave's memory to the Alzheimer's Society or to the Cumberland Regional Health Care Foundation.
