She was predeceased by: her parents, John McKay and Jean McKay (McCormick); her husband Dick; her son Richard; and her brothers, Gerald McKay and David McKay (Fran).

She is survived by: her close friend Richard Fraser; her daughters, Anne Hotchkis (Sam) and Janet Lowe (Stephen); and her sister Barbara Gilbert (Mike). She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren.
