He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Martin and Minnie Martin (Gaudet); his adoptive mother Anita Bulmer (Gaudet); his daughters, Stephanie Herrett-Martin and Natasha Richard (Matthew); his grandchildren, Ethan, Alexander Herrett, Nadya Richard (Jason Morse), Mackenzie Richard (Paige Everill) and Rory Richard; his great grandchildren, Natalya and Gabriella; his siblings, Ken Cormier of Shediac, NB, Frank (Dianne) of Ajax, ON, Carol Uhlman, Barb Reid of Saint John, NB, Nini MacDonald (Brian) and Gloria Martin of Parrsboro, NS; his sisters-in-law, Jean Martin of Ottawa, ON and Patsy Martin of Amherst, NS.; his wife Odette; and his brothers, Camille and Fred.
