It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chesley Richard Janes (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 3, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his parents, Gladys Janes and William Janes; and his brothers, Harold and Charles.
He is survived by: his great grandchild Poppy; his children, Gladys (Arnot), Greg (Rosa) and Derek (Sherri); his grandchildren, Andrea (Jason McInnis), Susan, Jennifer (John McNally), Kristen (Eric Borzi), Shannon, William, Shawn, Julia, Clara, Katie and Thomas; his great grandchildren, David Coish, Julia McInnis, Benjamin Borzi, Nolan and Calla McNally; and his sisters-in-law, Teresa Mullaly and Maureen Puddicombe.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, no visitation or funeral service will take place at this time.
