He was predeceased by: his mother Marjorie O'Connell; and his son Paul. He is survived by: his former wife Kathleen Rector; his wife Kathleen "Kaye" Kyle (Rector); his children, Wanda Gerstenberger (Arwed), Steven (Denyse) and Lee (Brenda); his grandsons, Dieter, Dylan Gerstenberger, Leo and Mathew Kyle; his stepgrandchildren, Crystal, Courtney and Eldon; his great grandchildren, Carmela, Little Charlie and Zoe Kyle; his sisters, Reta Kyle and Cathy Spicer (Darren) of Sussex; his sister-in-law JJ Rector; and his close friends, Chantelle, Stan, Charles, Jennifer, Emilie and Ethan Gagne.
