He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Hurley and Hazel Hurley (Cameron); his brothers, Doug, Jack and Fred Hurley; and his brother-in-law John Murphy.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene Loxton; his children, Tina Jones (Wayne), Carrie Bond (Scott), Shawn Hurley (Juanita) and Andrew Hurley (Diana); his grandchildren, Jennifer, William and Lucas; his great grandchildren, Brent and Chyanne; his siblings, Marjorie Wood, Joan Murphy and Phil Hurley (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Starr Hurley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Amherst Gospel Hall (20 Elmwood Dr, Amherst, NS B4H2C3). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
