It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Hastings (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 23, 2020, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Hastings to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Hastings and Maude E. Hastings (Milner); his son Jeffrey; his wife Joyce Hastings (Clarke); his siblings, Gladys, Grace Hastings, Frances Smith (Cecil), Greta Purdy (Len), Marion Lowerison (Tom), Eldon Hastings (Hilda) and Gerald Hastings (Marjorie); and his nephew Wayne Smith.

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Marjorie Hastings of Quispamsis, NB and Hilda Hastings; and his nieces and nephews, Mark Hastings (Cathie) of London, ON, Kevin Hastings (Cynthia), Barry Hastings of Edmonton, AB, Ronald Lowerison (Christina), Janet Baxter (Phil) of Falmouth, NS, Karen Veinot (Tim) of Dartmouth, NS, Donna Larooi (Dirk) of Quispamsis, NB, Carole Smith, Cheryl Purdy, Brian Hastings (Christine), Gregory Smith (Sarah) and David Purdy (Linda).
