Carolyn MacAloney Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn MacAloney of Amherst, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Porter and Audrey Porter (Tuttle); her husband Bernell; and her sister-in-law Jean Porter. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Duguay (Linda) of Amherst and Kimberley Doherty (Webster) of Dartmouth, NS; her grandchildren, James (Laura) and Jennifer (Brodie); her great grandchild Grayden; her stepchildren, Deborah Gilroy (Jack) of Leicester and Paul MacAloney; and her siblings, Darlene Gould (Jim) of Fredericton, NB and Rod Porter of Seagrove, NS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 provincial guidelines, everyone 12 and over will be required to show proof of double vaccination as well as government ID to attend the services.

Memorial donations in Carolyn's memory may be made to the Cumberland Hospice Society or the charity of your choice.
