She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Amos and Rachael Amos (Wood); her brother Charles Amos (Janice); her niece Angie Amos; her sister-in-law Dorritt Amos; and her father-in-law Donald Barnes.

She is survived by: her significant other Gary Barnes; her son Dylan Darby (Madeline); the father of her child Howard Darby; her siblings, John Amos (Jane), Arthur Amos and Donna Cormier (Ken Boutilier); her siblings-in-law, Donna Leblanc (Danny), Kevin Barnes (Kim) and Danny Barnes (Susan); her nieces and nephews, Joanne Gibson (Steve), Michael, Marcus Cormier and Cayne Amos (Sarah); her pet Mittens; and also Frances Barnes.

Due to COVID-19 regulations, proof of double vaccination and government ID is required for the celebration.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions can be made in Carole's memory to the Cumberland Cancer Assistance Fund or the LA Animal Shelter.
