He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Merrill and Thelma Merrill (King); his son Timmy; his brothers, Arthur and Leonard; his nephew Scott; his parents-in-law, Ted and Margaret LeFurgey; and his brother Don LeFurgey (Brenda).
He is survived by: his wife Sharon (LeFurgey); his sons, James and Christopher; his pet Sophie; his sister-in-law Marilyn Merrill; his niece Krista Merrill; his siblings-in-law, James LeFurgey (Judy) and Linda Hebert (Don); and his nieces and nephews, Cheryl, Shannon, Stacey, Bobbi-Jo, Cori and Dale.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Amherst Wesleyan Church (6 Maltby Ct, Amherst, NS B4H2L6).
