She was predeceased by: her parents, Mike Misken and Rose Misken; the father of her children Francis Burke; and her siblings, Peter Misken and Mary Burke.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Debbie) of Tremont, NS, Wayne (Catherine) of Antigonish, NS, Stephen (Vicki) of Margaretsville, NS, Paul (Vera), Alabama and David (Iris) of Chester, NS. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews.
