He was predeceased by: his parents, David Edward Rowe and Mable Jean Angus (Amos); his former wife Ann (Gilroy); his brother Arden Spicer; and his sister-in-law Dorothy Spicer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara MacKay; his children, Steven (Krista Adams) and Janette Melanson (Shane); his grandchildren, Corrine, Caden, Justin, Colton, Rory and Damon; and his siblings, Ken Spicer (Barb), Neil Spicer, Joan Wensley and Helen Tanner (Hans). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
