He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Martin and Amelia Martin (Treadwell); and his brother Randolph. He is survived by: his children, Veronica Butler (Maxwell), James (Jennifer) and Jeffrey Dartmouth; his grandchildren, Amir, Brian, Chauncey and James Jr.; his siblings, Robert of Amherst, Gordon (Marg) of Amherst, Andrew of Amherst, Johnnie of Amherst, Arthur of Amherst, George (Ruth) of Amherst, Bertha (Brent), Elizabeth Tynes, Joanne McFarlane and Sharon Kingston (Jeff); and his close friend Candy (Mary). He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
