It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Anne McWhirter (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 26, 2018, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Margerite Holland; and her sister Brenda Holland. She is survived by: her spouse Sidney McWhirter of Jolicure; her sons, Jamie McWhirter of Amherst and Evan McWhirter; her father Arthur Holland of Amherst; and her friend Jean Harrison of Amherst. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
