It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Beatrice DesRoche (Amherst, Nova Scotia), who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her children, Janet and Dwight; her son-in-law Mike; her sisters, Lillian (Roland) and Bertha (Junior); her siblings-in-law, Diane, Rolland, Bobby and Junior; her parents, Alice and Percy Kirkpatrick; her stepfather Duncan Spidell; and her stepsister Francis.

She is survived by: her children, Connie and Eric; her children-in-law, Philip and Sue; her grandchildren, Shannon (Tom), Matthew (Kristin), Chloe (Zola), Emmett (Maddie), Claire (Jules), Hayley (Marty) and Mitchell; and her siblings, Douglas (Ruby), Bill (Maria) and Darlene (Bobby).
