He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Negus and Viola Negus (Jollymore); and his siblings, Tom, Huddie, Fred, Lawrence, Helen Babineau, Audrey Casey and Margaret Kasaboski.

He is survived by: his close friend Carol MacKenzie; and his siblings, Shirley Farrell (Gary) of Brookdale and Robert of Amherst. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and extended family.

Donations may be made in Art's memory to the Cancer Society or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.
