She was predeceased by: her father Russell Gogan; and her brother Edward. She is survived by: her mother Judy Gogan (Capson); her husband Michael; her daughters, Melissa (Mohammed) and Brandy (Will); her grandson Tyrell (Danieka); her stepson Shannon (Jennifer); her sisters, Karen and Wanda (Lou); and her grandchildren, Sontaye, Suraya, Jaden, Konrad and Benjamin. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
