He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel W. Black and Laura C. Black (Davis); and his siblings, Gordon, Eldon, Florence Bunn, Elsie Smith, Jewel Brander, Betty Macdonald, Sybil and Eleanor.
He is survived by: his wife Iris (Pfinder); his children, Anthony (Sharon), Jim (Rita), Beaverbank, Duane (Sherry) and Nicole Stone (Paul) of Amherst; and his sister Jean MacDonald of Stellarton, NS. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and extended family.
