He was predeceased by: his parents, Allison Ripley and Weslean Ripley (Goodwin); his wife Shirley Ripley (Goodwin); his siblings, Melvin Ripley, Elda Leadbetter, William Ripley, Joseph Ripley and Coates Ripley; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Goodwin, Doris Ripley and Pat Arsenault.

He is survived by: his daughter Rosella Rogerson (Bill); his siblings, Robert Ripley of Truemanville, Nobleton of Truemanville, Melborne Ripley of Truemanville, Albion Ripley (Joy) of Truemanville, Mary Mac of Truemanville, Marjorie Brown of Truemanville, Flora Casey (Fred) of Amherst, Sarah Arsenault (Fred) of Amherst, Janey Arsenault of Amherst, Helena Brine (David) of Amherst, Barbara Hope (Bruce), Georgetown and Ont of Truemanville; and his siblings-in-law, Bernice Ripley of Keswick Ridge, N. B., Rose Ripley, Leonard Goodwin of Truemanville, NS and Lloyd Goodwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
