Albert Legere Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Legere of Amherst, Nova Scotia, born in Port Elgin, New Brunswick, who passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Legere and Marie Agnes Legere (Roberts); his close friend Erma Mattinson; his stepson Earl Mattinson; and his daughter Susan Legere.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin Legere (Karen Ann) of Amherst and Geraldine Legere of Amherst; the mother of his children Audrey Legere of Amherst; his stepdaughter Cheryl Mattinson of Oxford; his brother Archie Legere of Nappan; and his grandchildren, Natasha Hollis (Josh St Peter), Corey McLellan (Lorraine Wolsey), Monique Legere and Amanda Mattinson. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions in Boots memory can be made to the Cumberland Cancer Assistance Fund.
