She was predeceased by: her husband Carl Gould; her son Roderick Prosper; her parents, Frank Toney and Charlotte Stevens; her foster parents, Noel Poulette and Kathryan Poulette; her siblings, John Isadore, Mirium Taylor, Louis Isadore and William Poulette; and her godchildren, Diane Morrison and Jimmy Armstrong.

She is survived by: her children, Norman Prosper (Ottawa), Daniel Prosper (Paqtnkek), Lillian Prosper, Maury Prosper (Paqtnkek), Rita Prosper (Paqtnkek) and Patricia Prosper (Paqtnkek); her grandchildren, Cecily Prosper (Rene Prosper), Lorraine Basque, Nyesha Sylliboy, Julius Esteban (Promise Julian) and Nadine Prosper (Membertou); her stepchildren, Martha Crossman of Membertou, Lincoln Gould of Membertou and Theodore Gould of Membertou; her siblings, Bessie Prosper, Rita Tontarelli, Fred Isadore and Mary Jane McDonough; and her godchildren, Christopher Pictou and Kale Gould. She is also survived by many great grandchildren.
