Magretta Best Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Magretta Best (Winterton, Newfoundland), who passed away on April 9, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bursey and Mary Bursey; her sisters, Marilyn Pretty and Joan; her brothers-in-law, John Green and Clyde Rogers; and her grandson Benjamin Gregory York Best.

She is survived by: her children, George (Melinda), Cordell (Gail), Wade (Peggy), Wanda (Don) and Nadine (Danny); her grandchildren, Damian (Martine), Terri-Lynn, Sarah (Ally), Mason (Jamie), Kaylee (Nikki), Megan (Mark), Luke, Nicole (Matt), Jessica (Kyle), Garrett, Justin, Noah (Chantal), Nicholas (Lainey) and Zoe (Nathan); her great grandchildren, Samuel, Sarah-Maude, Jordyn, Jayla, Brenden, Rowan, Quinn, Henri and Levi; her sisters, Gwen, Donna (Steve), Ellie (Earl) and Carol (Don); her brother-in-law Jimmy Pretty; and her friend Greta. She is also survived by many beautiful nieces, nephews, and cousins.
