It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delphine Jessie Jacobs (Winterton, Newfoundland), who passed away on November 23, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Albert Jacobs, Sr.; her parents, Wilbert Butler and Sophie Butler; her siblings, John Butler, Jean Thomas and Pearl Evans; and her daughter Wavey Dove.
She is survived by: her children, Max Jacobs of St. John's, Albert Jacobs (Susan Whelan) of Goulds, Juanita Herrell and Joy Jacobs of Goulds; her grandchildren, Shannon, Kyla, Robin, Mandy, Joelle, Josh, Michaela, Nathan and Aaron; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Conway, Warren, Zoe, Alyssa, Brooklyn, Elizabeth, Liam, Isabella, Cian, Kellan, Holland, Elliot and Lacey.
Because the family are recovering from Covid they will be wearing masks and they encourage anyone attending the visitation or the funeral to please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, donations will accepted on behalf of Autism Society NL.
