He was predeceased by: his wife Emma Marina Payne; his parents, William Payne and Matilda Payne; his siblings, Douglas Payne (Nora), Roy Payne (Gladys) and Majorie Freake (Able); his niece Vivian Cole; and his nephews, Bradley and Mark Payne.
He is survived by: his daughter Germaine (Barry) of Botwood, NL.; and his granddaughter Katie (Josh) of Dawson Creek, BC.. He is also survived by Dads Brothers and sisters in-laws.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are greatly accepted or donations in Johns memory to the Gander district Ostomy chapter.
