We bid farewell to Dulcie Fancey (Wings Point, Newfoundland), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 14, 2024 at the age of 91. Dulcie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Wilson Fancey; her parents, Lewis Coates and Emma Coates; her brothers, Albert, Roy and Don; and her parent-in-law Bethia Fancey.
She is survived by: her children, Effie Fahey (Ron), Marina Fancey (Calvin), Glenn Fancey, Marlene Fancey (Barry), Norma Wade (Lorne), Scott Fancey, Wade Fancey (Jennifer), Nancy Boyde (Kevin), Elaine Fancey (Lorne) and Terry Fancey (Leslie-Ann); her sisters-in-law, Beatrice, Pansey and Cavell; and also Josephine. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dulcie's memory to Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Wing's Point or the Gander Bay Volunteer Fire Department.
