He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Brookings and Vera Brookings; and his siblings, Frances Wheadon and Clyde. He is survived by: his wife Brenda; his children, Amanda (Patrick Fahey), Dean (Brenda) and Chris (Dianne Hogan); his grandsons, Jacob and Christopher; his brothers, Wallace (Jean) and Melvin; and his nephew Eddie Scott.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Noel's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay.
