It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lewis Gabriel Oakley of Wesleyville, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 29, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alban Oakley and Leah Oakley; his stepmother Irene Oakley; his son Johnny; and his siblings, Ralph, Carl, Esther and Margaret.

He is survived by: his wife Beulah; his children, Joy of Gander, Roger (Valerie) of Musgrave Harbour, Danny (Susan) of Ontario, Guy (Joanne) of Wesleyville, Darrin (Wanda) of Badger's Quay and Jimmy of Wesleyville; his daughter-in-law Gail of Ontario; and his sisters, Frances (Jim Cox) of Wesleyville and Nellie (Evan Richards) of Ontario. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and a large circle of other relatives and friends.

Due to COVID restrictions and recommendations funeral service will be by invitation only.

As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers donations in Lewis' memory may be made to St. John Anglican Cemetery, Wesleyville.
