It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Wesley Abbott (Wesleyville, Newfoundland), who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin and Rhoda; his daughter Wanda Walsh; and his grandson Draper Fahey. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Owen (Suzette) of Musgrave Harbour, Jamie (Leanne) of Carmanville, Janice Chaulk (Glen) of Deadman's Bay, Judy Fahey (Phonse) of Musgrave Harbour, Roxanne Walsh (Bernard) of Paradise, Geraldine Stokes (Dennis) of Deadman's Bay, Gloria Boorse (Shawn) of Columbus and Ohio; his son-in-law Neil Walsh of Paradise; and his brothers, Ned Abbott of Musgrave Harbour and Chesley Abbott of Musgrave Harbour. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, a number of nephews and nieces and also a large circle of other relatives and friends.
