It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Irene Sainsbury of Wesleyville, Newfoundland, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tobias Hann and Grace Hann (Hall); her stepfather Archibald Hall; her husband Edward Sainsbury; her stepsiblings, Peter (Ester), Jess (Carrie), Howard (Sophie), Walter (Lorraine), Lillian (Charlie), Hazel (Raymond) and Kate (Edward); and her sister-in-law Marina Sainsbury.
She is survived by: her children, David (Evelyn) of Wesleyville and Kathryn (Fred) of Stephenville; her sister-in-law Annie (Robert Kelly) of London, ON.; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert Humphries), Jonathan (Ashley), Lisa (Charles Hann), Hannah and Kimberly Robertson; and her great grandchildren, Nate, Leo Humphries, Victor, Jake Hann, Hazel Mae and David Sainsbury.
As an expression of sympathy and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Jubilee United Church, Wesleyville.
