He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Stokes and Clara Stokes; his uncle Randolph Stokes; and his grandson Matthew Hillier. He is survived by: his wife Ruby (Scott); his children, Brad (Patsy Marshall) and Cindy (Sid Hillier); his grandchildren, Mark Hillier (Taylor Smith), Daniel Hillier (Amanda Keeping) and Bailey Stokes; and his sisters, Florence (Gord Jackson) of Cavendish and Susan (Sid Burry) of St. John's.
Visitation and funeral service will be in accordance to Covid-19 recommendations and guidelines.
