He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Eliab and Irene Cramm; his aunt Darlene Howg; and his great-grandparents, John Jim, Ella Mercer and Hilda Smith.
He is survived by: his parents, Paul Mercer and Arlene Mercer; his siblings, Tylor (Greg Reid) and Samantha; his girlfriend Sarah Pye; his grandparents, Esau and Evelyn Mercer; and his aunts and uncles, David Mercer (Denise), Lloyd Cramm, Marlene Cramm, Bryan Howg, Maureen Pennington and Pauline Zelinski (Randy).
A reception was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM at the Slade's Funeral Home (432 Cranes Rd, Upper Island Cove, NL A0A 4E0). A prayer was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 8:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Peter's Anglican Cemetery.
