She was predeceased by: her husbands, Harvey Mercer, Sr. and Selby Crane; her parents, Luke Sheppard and Nellie Sheppard; and her brothers, Wilson Sheppard and Gordon Sheppard (Rita).
She is survived by: her children, Harvey Mercer (Roxanne), Mary Fitzgerald (Bernie) and Jean Smith (Cyril); her grandchildren, Justine Butt (Gregory), Shane Mercer (Robyn), Rebecca Mercer (Britney), Amanda Abbott (Keith), Bernie Fitzgerald (Samantha), Darlene Smith (Tony), Carol-Ann Marshall (Les), Chris Smith (Raylene) and Cyril Smith; her great grandchildren, Luke Butt, Hollie Butt, Shelby Abbott, Michael Abbott, Travis Smith and Lacey Marshall; her sister Freda Mercer (Raymond); and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Sheppard.
