Michael John Carruthers Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael John Carruthers of Upper Island Cove, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 1, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carruthers and Pauline Carruthers. He is survived by: his wife Sandra; his children, Joanne (Harry) and Brian (Dawn); his grandchildren, Alex (Serena) and Emily; his brother Andrew (Carol); and his nephews, Robbie, Nicholas and Ian.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Peter's Anglican Church. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the All Saints Anglican Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his loving memory to a Charity of One's Choice.
