He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicholas Dobbin and Jessie Dobbin; his parents-in-law, Maude and Thomas McCarthy; his siblings, Vincent Dobbin and Bridget Galway; his siblings-in-law, Rosemary McCarthy and Terry Whalen; and his niece Corrine Evans.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Dobbin; his children, Lisa Dobbin (Linny Vey) and Wayne Dobbin (Helen); his grandchildren, Jasmine Dobbin, Troy and Jessica Dobbin; his sister Susie Byrne; and his siblings-in-law, Loretta McCarthy (Aubrey Reid), Frances Walsh (Terry), Margaret Evans (George), Jessie Smith (Nathaniel), Doreen Whalen and Terry McCarthy.
