Walter Bishop Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Bishop of Upper Gullies, Newfoundland, who passed away on August 20, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Bishop and Jean Bishop; his parents-in-law, James and Bertille Kelly; his aunt Emma; his uncle Cyril Kennedy; his siblings-in-law, Anne Beresford, Ellen Maddox, Mary Bishop, Kevin Mahoney, Kevin Beresford, Fred and Gerard Kelly; and his niece Sherri Hoskins.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his sons, Christopher, Madison, Avery and Jack; his siblings, Dave, Wayne (Carrie), Michael (Karen), Glenys Penner and Susan Stark (Ron); his aunts, Vera Clarke (Ron) and Florence Morgan; and his siblings-in-law, Veronica Mahoney (Paul), Mary Batterton (John), Dorothy Ryan (Kevin), Hilda Barren (Gerald), Geraldine Ryan (Aiden), Maureen Kelly, Laura Kelly (Ivan Andrews), Tom Maddox, Jim Kelly (Rosalind), Sam Kelly (Ruby) and Pat Kelly (Brenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Sunday, August 29, 2021 from 2 PM – 7 PM.
Donations in Walter's memory may be made to St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund or a charity of one's choice.
