He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxwell Young and Daisy Young; and his parents-in-law, Eric and Lucy Simmons. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his brother-in-law Ernest Simmons (Doreen Mitchell); his niece Jayne Simmons (Sheldon Huelin); his great-nephews, Elijah, Erik and Averie; his uncle Frederick Pond (Netta); and also Trudy Stokes (Curtis).
Donations in Wayne's memory can be given to the Calvary Pentecostal Church Cemetery Fund, Twillingate.
