She was predeceased by: her husband Clayton; her parents, Kenneth Hynes and Maude Hynes; her siblings, Ron, Eric, Evelyn and Marie; and her children, Inez (Eli), Danny (Kathleen), Ivan (Carolyn), Peter (Pamela) and Joyce (Richard).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Erica (Damian), Megan (Brent), Zach, Bethany, Trevor (Chantelle), Andrew, Allison, Nadia, Timothy, Abbigail, Victoria, Cameron, Miriam and Avery; her great grandchildren, Tory, Eloise, Zoey and Judy; and her siblings, Lloyd (Eileen), Gilbert, Ray (Holly), Mildred (Sylvester), Kathleen (Aubrey), Lily, Magretta and Madeline. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Donations may be made in Violet's memory to the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre Hospital Auxiliary for the Long Term Care Unit.
