She is survived by: her husband Neville; her daughters, Nancy Rogers (Tony) and Cynthia Wiseman (Peter); her grandchildren, Amanda (Jonathan), Wesley, Carl and Lauren (Noah); her siblings, Junior Flynn (Louise), Ada Dalley (Clayton) and Helen Pearce; and her sister-in-law Frances Flynn. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Donations may be given in Shirley's memory to the Hospital Pond Community Garden Corporation or United Church Cemetery Fund, Little Harbour.
