She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Sharpe and Flora Sharpe; her husbands, Chesley Simms and Ronald Burry; her granddaughter Suzanne Norton; and her siblings, Edna Luscombe (Bill), Stella Bridger (Roland), Millicent Price (Donald), Mamie Pollett (Ellis), Selby Sharpe (Mildred), Weldon Sharpe (Alice) and Junior Sharpe.

She is survived by: her daughter Patsy Blake (Wilson); her grandson Paul Blake; her grandson-in-law Glen Norton; her great grandchildren, Olivia Norton, Noah and Nicholas Blake; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Sharpe and Ida Winters; and also, Julia, Audrey and Edna (Irving). She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Donations may be given in Nellie's memory to the Northside United Church Cemetery Fund.
